Will you take that extra step to extend a helping hand

Can you judge not when having such a restricted view
an unknown number of extenuating facts you never knew.

Will you go along to get along because of the cost in sight
can you stand alone in the face of wrong just because it’s right?
Will the weight of pain stress of strain bring a negative change
or can you embrace the hope it’s time to cope its sink or float?

When being called out of your name will you play that game
or school the fool who has nothing to lose not being their tool.
Will you side with your friend stand! to end determined to win
or ease away it’s just to hard to stay for the price you will pay

Is the truth in-vane before such tangible gains easing your shame
then lose all heart finding yourself in the dark for playing the part.
A face in the mirror you no longer know becoming your biggest foe
things you own that big empty home with a sad song you’re all along.
