Lashing from a stinging sun sweltering neglected thirst,
chills descend muted skies things would only get worst.
Fear enforce the flanks of the forest’s floor then a feast,
tooth’s in fangs meet claws in paws the eyes of a beast.
Humidity in the steamy heat dissolve the herds’ resolution,
while the group in the pack, the joint attack is the solution.
Flesh in fur frigidly frozen takes flight! chased by the bite,
a moonlit meal after the fight, pups in the den eat tonight.
