UNBURDEN BY YOUR SMILE

Hearing your whisper in the meadows of spring

No longer broken heart among still vivid dreams

Cast out the light from wretchedness of my past

Instilled reflective visions why shall they not last

Reaching the bottomless cesspools of wanton folly

Manipulative! the mistrustful still fools will volley

Forsaken ye jealousies the intolerant are jubilant!

Reveling while Demeaning they must be resistant

Moving through marshy puddles of a fertile stream

my reluctant conclusion I’m less sure than it seems

Then the drifting silhouette of your face with a smile

Easy thy heavy burdens will you sit with me a while
